Nairobi Chronicles.

I was sitting on a midday matatu🚌 from town (CBD) to Nyayo Embakasi, and noticed that the passengers were a really good sample of Kenya🇰🇪.

There was nurse👩‍⚕️ probably getting back from a night shift, a highschool student👩‍💻 who maybe had been sent home🏡 from school to go collect School fees. This sharply dressed young man👨‍💼 had a brown envelope on his lap, probably coming from an interview I guessed. A hawker was selling ‘magical pens’🖊️🖋️, a pretty good sales man, I would say. The man behind my seat was on the phone promising to pay “the loan” by the end of the day today.

These are everyday folks. There are millions going through the same ordeals everyday, all over the country.

So,

If your days are better, if you have an income of some sort or people you love and love you back; just something to look up to. Then find time in your busy days to say thanks to God or to Karma, or to science or to whoever or whatever it is that you believe in. Coz wueh, life ain’t easy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
